Last updated: October 2026. This policy explains, in plain language, what information this website collects and why.
What we collect
- Information you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address and message so we can reply. We do not sell this information or add you to a mailing list.
- Basic usage data. Like most websites, our server and analytics tools record anonymous usage information such as pages visited, approximate location (country/region), device type and browser. This helps us see which calculators are used and which guides need improving.
- Calculator inputs. The numbers you type into our calculators (room sizes, prices, energy rates) are processed in your own browser. They are not sent to our server and are not stored.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: essential cookies that make the site work and remember basic preferences, and, if enabled, anonymous analytics cookies that count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the calculators will still work.
How we use information
We use the information above only to run the site, reply to messages, understand which tools are useful, and fix problems. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Third parties
The site may load fonts, analytics or embedded content from third-party services, which may set their own cookies under their own privacy policies. External links on this site lead to websites we do not control; their privacy practices are their own.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you (in practice, only messages you have sent us), and ask us to delete it, at any time through the Contact Us page. We will comply within a reasonable time.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
